Upon your arrival at the office, we will provide you with some concise documentation to complete. This documentation will gather basic details about you and your current health status.

•         Consultation

After you’ve finished the paperwork, a consultation with our doctor will take place. This will be an opportunity to discuss your health issues, any concerns you may have, and explore possible treatment strategies.

•         History and Examination

Dr. Mark Jason Bernardo will inquire about your condition through a series of questions to identify the exact issue you are experiencing. Subsequently, specific tests will be carried out to ascertain the tissues impacted and the severity of the condition. This may include:

–          Physical Examination

–          Orthopedic Examination

–          Neurological Examination

–          Chiropractic Examination

This can be a total of over 60 examinations depending on your case. Dr. Mark can determine which treatment is essential for you, based on the assessment of your initial exam. Once your problem area(s) have been recognized, Dr. Bernardo will outline a personalized treatment program especially fitted to you.

•       X-Ray

In the evaluation process, the last stage involves an X-ray examination. Our Gonstead chiropractor, Dr. Bernardo will conduct a comprehensive spinal X-ray to detect any spinal misalignments. This procedure is repeated over the course of your sessions to monitor your progression and confirm the efficacy of the treatment. But also, you may or may not get x-ray depending on the results of your exam.

If needed, these steps are repeated during several visits to ensure an accurate diagnosis, effective treatment plan, and to track its effectiveness.

Upon completion of the assessment, our chiropractic doctor will devise a personalized treatment plan for you, which may include spinal adjustments, soft tissue therapy, and rehabilitative exercises.
